The Secret Habits on Internet Users
Mobile and the internetβs ever increasing role in our lives is drawing out some behaviours that are… well… quite strange.
A recent survey of 1000 respondents aimed to explore these strange and, until now, unspoken mobile and internet habits. The results were revealing.
For instance, did you know that it takes the average person 4 attempts to take a selfie that theyβll share on social media?
Meanwhile, have you ever felt a little paranoid that someone might be reading your phone over your shoulder on the bus. Well, turns out youβre not paranoid. 28% admit to reading another personβs phone over their shoulder on public transport, with 25 β 34 year olds the most likely culprits.
Other insights in the study include the prevalence of βsecond screeningβ, texting the wrong person, clearing internet history and what weβd all be doing if the internet didnβt exist at all.
