When travelling by plane you have to think about transport when you arrive at your destination, this could be via pre-arranged buses, taxis etc. or you could hire a car. All of this adds an extra expense onto your holiday whereas, if travelling by ferry, you can take your own car with you and save your funds for making your mini break really count.
