Read MoreCamping is a fun experience that brings you close to nature. But that also means, you can’t always get what you want when you’re living in wilderness. This is why it is important to plan ahead of time and take the things you want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in your tent.

First Aid Kit
When you run, hike or even walk in the middle of a forest or nature reserve, a lot of things can go wrong. You could trip, get an insect bite and so much more. This is an integral part of living in nature.
That said, it is a good idea to carry a first aid kit with you at all times to handle such incidents.
Flash lights and lanterns
Flash lights are a must for your camping trip. Whether it is the late night bathroom trip or a casual walk to see your nocturnal friends, flash lights show you the way. Along with the lights, make sure to carry some extra batteries too, especially if you plan to camp for a longer period of time.
Besides flash lights, take some old-fashioned lanterns too because you’ll want to light up a larger area.
Sprays and sunscreens
Regardless of which time of the year you prefer to camp, make sure to carry bug sprays as you’ll find creepy crawlies always. If you plan to camp during summer, carry a sunscreen too. Both these are a must-have because you’ll be spending a substantial part of your time outdoors!
Campfire starters and matches
What is camping without a campfire? Sitting around a warm fire at night can be a blissful experience. But then, you need the right campfire starter and matches to start the fire and keep it going.
You can choose to buy campfire starters or make them yourselves using everyday things like old toilet paper tubes and lint. Simply roll the lint into a toilet paper roll and light a match to it to create the perfect campfire starter.
Be ready for any weather
Check the weather before you leave, and make sure to carry weather appropriate clothing and gear. For example, if there is rain predicted for that day or weekend, make sure to carry umbrellas and rain coats. If it is going to be hot during your planned camping days, carry light clothing and lots of sunscreen
